Everything you need to know before starting your Earning Roadmap.
Bank Boost is free to join and use. There is no subscription fee, and you do not need to provide a payment card.
We may earn a commission or referral payment from some providers when you use our links. This does not increase the price you pay or reduce the reward offered to you.
You can read more on our How Bank Boost Is Funded page.
Our goal is to order offers according to their usefulness to members, including reward value, effort, eligibility, payout time and any important requirements.
A commercial relationship should not determine whether we describe an offer positively or negatively. Where we may receive compensation, we disclose it clearly.
A verified offer is one where we have reviewed the publicly available provider information, including the reward, key eligibility requirements, qualifying actions and important deadlines.
Offers can change or close with little notice, so always check the provider's latest terms before applying.
Each guide should show when it was last reviewed.
The reward is normally paid by the bank, app, cashback platform or other company running the offer.
Bank Boost does not hold your reward or access your bank account. We help you understand the offer and track when the payment is expected.
It depends on the account and provider.
Some applications use no credit check or only a soft search. Others may involve a hard search, particularly when you request an overdraft or apply for a credit product.
We highlight known credit-check information in each guide, but you should always confirm the details with the provider before applying.
Not necessarily.
Some switching offers require you to move an eligible current account through the Current Account Switch Service. That account does not always need to be the one you use every day.
However, providers may require active direct debits, minimum deposits, card payments or other qualifying activity. Check the guide and the provider's terms before starting.
Simple sign-up and cashback offers may only take a few minutes to set up.
Bank switches usually need more planning because you may need to check eligibility, prepare direct debits, deposit money or complete card-payment requirements.
Bank Boost shows an estimated setup time, difficulty and payout timeframe wherever possible.
Payout timing varies by offer.
Some rewards arrive shortly after you complete the requirements. Others may take several days or weeks.
Your Bank Boost tracker lets you record when you started, what remains to be completed and when the reward is expected. Provider timeframes are estimates rather than guarantees.
Offer terms can change, but providers will normally assess you under the terms that applied when you correctly joined or applied.
Save important confirmation emails and screenshots, and keep a record of when you started.
Bank Boost updates guides when changes are identified, but the provider's terms are always the final authority.
No.
Eligibility and reward decisions are made by the provider. A reward may be declined if you do not meet the requirements, have previously used the offer or fail to complete a qualifying action correctly.
Our guides are designed to reduce mistakes, but they cannot guarantee acceptance or payment.
It depends on the type of reward, the activity involved and your wider tax position.
Personal cashback and certain promotional incentives may be treated differently from income earned through side hustles, referrals or trading activity.
Keep accurate records and check current GOV.UK or HMRC guidance. Consider speaking with a qualified tax professional when the amounts are significant or you already complete Self Assessment.
No.
Any hourly figures are estimates based on typical tasks or reported outcomes. Actual earnings depend on availability, experience, demand, location and the time you spend.
We show realistic estimates to help you compare opportunities, not to promise a particular level of income.
Bank Boost does not need your online banking password or security credentials.
When you apply for an offer, you usually continue to the provider, cashback platform or referral page and enter your information there.
Bank Boost may store information you choose to add to your account, such as saved offers, progress and expected payout dates. Details are explained in our Privacy Policy and Data & Security pages.
Your Earning Roadmap is a personalised list of opportunities organised into a practical order.
It helps you see which offers are ready to start, which requirements need completing, which rewards are waiting for payout, how much you have banked and what you could do next.
You remain in control and can add, remove or reorder opportunities.
Boost Points recognise helpful activity within the Bank Boost community, such as maintaining a valid referral link or receiving confirmation of a successful referral handshake.
Boost Points are not cash and do not represent a financial product. Their availability, value and uses are explained within the Bank Boost platform.
Eligible members can share referral links or codes for supported offers.
Other members can reveal an available referral route, follow the offer guide and confirm whether the referral worked. Contributors can pause, update or remove links when they expire or reach their usage limit.
A referral link does not guarantee acceptance or payment. Both people must still meet the provider's terms.
No.
Bank Boost provides general information, organisational tools and offer guides. We are not financial advisers, and nothing on the platform is a personal recommendation to open an account, apply for credit or make an investment.
Consider your own circumstances and read the provider's terms before taking action.
